AS5459, London Internet Exchange (LINX), the UK’s leading IXP, has announced an extended partnership with Digital Realty, AS36086, the largest global provider of cloud and carrier-neutral datacenter, colocation, and interconnection services. The partnership will see Digital Realty’s leading colocation services made available to LINX’s expanding membership community.
As a reseller of Digital Realty’s datacenter services, LINX, London Internet Exchange, AS5459, (LINX-LON1), a mutually governed Internet Exchange Point (IXP) provides its members access to a wide portfolio of colocation and connectivity solutions. With direct connections to major cloud providers such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, LINX Customers benefit from low latency, secure access to world-leading cloud providers, greater efficiency, and reduced costs.
The partnership between Digital Realty and LINX builds upon a longstanding relationship established in 2019 when Digital Realty partnered with LINX and other leading European IXP operators to develop a common, standardized application programming interface (API), which was later made available in Digital Realty’s datacenters across Europe.
